Manila rope is known for its blonde-brown colour, offering a simple and traditional look. It is made from the Abaca plant, the strongest plant fiber grown in the in world. This wreath was handcrafted in Nova Scotia, Canada on the shores of the Bay of Fundy. It uses a traditional Turks’ Head knot, which has been tied for centuries, and was originally crafted aboard ships for decoration. The wreath is tied with tuff, durable lobster fishing float rope, for hanging in all weather. It can be hung on a wall or door, used as a candle ring or table centrepiece, or used to frame a mirror or picture.

We are situated in central Nova Scotia, Canada, on the Bay of Fundy with some of the worlds’ highest tides. Lobster fishing communities on the Bay, Northumberland Strait, and Atlantic Ocean are a short drive away.
